Hey “Portlandia” fans we have big news for you. Today, IFC announced some of the guest stars who will be visiting the show when it returns in January. While we’ve already announced that Kyle MacLachlan (“Desperate Housewives,” “Twin Peaks”) will return as Portlandia’s mayor and that Mary Lynn Rajskub (“24,” “Mr. Show”) may be stopping by a certain feminist bookstore on the second season of “Portlandia,” we now have a few more names to share. This season’s guest stars include a who’s who of comedy, including Penny Marshall (“Laverne and Shirley”), Jack McBrayer (“30 Rock”), Tim Robbins (“The Shawshank Redemption”), Andy Samberg (“SNL,” Lonely Island), Amber Tamblyn (127 Hours, “House”) and Kristen Wiig (“Bridesmaids,” “SNL”).

As any fan can tell you, “Portlandia” stars Fred Armisen (“SNL”) and Carrie Brownstein (Wild Flag, Sleater-Kinney) as a variety of wonderfully eccentric characters including Peter and Nance, a bohemian couple caught up in the organic and local food movement; Bryce Shivers and Lisa Everesman, an arty and obsessive couple; and Toni and Candice, the formerly activist, self-involved shopkeepers of the feminist bookstore “Women and Women First.” In addition to the current inhabitants, several new residents will be moving in for season two.

Jack McBrayer Forgot His Bag in “Portlandia”

Portlandia is a wild and wonderful place with just a few little rules so that everyone can get along in peace and harmony with their friends and neighbors and, of course, Mother Earth. Rule No. 1: BYOB. While bringing your own beer is always good etiquette wherever you live, in Portlandia, BYOB means Bring Your Own Bag. Unfortunately, when “30 Rock” star Jack McBrayer stopped by “Portlandia” he didn’t read the visitor’s guide and forgot to bring his environmentally-friendly bag when he hit the local grocery store. Luckily, Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein are there to show him the ropes. Sort of. Watch below and then head to Facebook to tell us whether you’ve ever forgotten to BYOB:

“Wreck-It Ralph” trailer brings classic video game characters to life

With E3 in full swing, there seems like no better time to release the trailer for Disney’s animated ode to video games, “Wreck-It Ralph.” The upcoming movie features the voice talents of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jane Lynch and Jack McBrayer, and follows the story of a video game villain who’s sick of being a bad guy.

Wreck-It Ralph is a character who gets defeated by arcade game players over and over again for 30 years, and decides he wants a little more recognition. So he decides to opt out of his own game and head to some other titles where he might be appreciated more. What happens from there is anyone’s guess, but the general premise is cute enough for kids and clever enough for video game-playing adults.

Our favorite moment from the trailer comes towards the beginning when Ralph can be seen in a video game villain support group. It’s similar to the discarded toys therapy session we saw in “Toy Story 3,” except this time with the Ghosts from “Pac-Man” and Bowser from the “Mario” games. Expect many more clever allusions to video game history when this movie hits theaters on November 2.

IFC is on hand at E3 all this week, and we’ll be rolling out our content soon. We got to play everything from “Halo 4″ to the upcoming “Avengers” Kinect game, all for the sake of you guys. Video games are pretty hot right now, and we’re glad “Wreck-It Ralph” is taking advantage of it.

Watch Todd Margaret’s Jack McBrayer Show Off His Red Carpet Pose on The Late Late Show

Todd Margaret’s Jack McBrayer is a walking ray of sunshine. With a mile-wide grin and the soul of a newborn puppy, the former 30 Rock page will warm your heart on-sight, but he probably won’t get the paparazzi camera lenses swinging his way. Not for any lack of stardom, mind you. He just doesn’t normally bring variety to his red carpet poses.

This week on The Late Late Show, sitting alongside young, hip folks like Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland and Mr. Robot star Rami Malek, McBrayer confessed he’s “a one-trick pony” when it comes to smiling for the camera. Nevertheless, it’s delightful.

Check out Jack McBrayer as his usual charming self in the video below.

It’s the premiere nobody planned for. After a definitive end to the series — let alone the planet within the show — Todd Margaret returned last night thanks to a healthy desire from fans to simply see more. Todd and the universe he occupies has been resurrected with a very, very different angle. (Star David Cross admits that he’s much more like this season’s character than in the previous seasons.)

Actor and human ray of sunshine Jack McBrayer appeared on Conan last night to promote the third season of Todd Margaret. Jack and Conan go way back to when the former 30 Rock star was an actual 30 Rock employee and appeared in many sketches on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. So Conan is privy to a trait that you might not know about Jack McBrayer: He’s very thrifty. To what extent? Well, he’ll tell you the cheapest way to get a car if you’re not into haggling, how name-dropping products is a great way to get free stuff, and if you’re into tiramisu on the cheap, then you’re in for a treat!

Watch Jack McBrayer share how his penny-pinching thriftiness really pays off.

5 Funny Jack McBrayer Videos That’ll Have You Grinning

Bright, shining, and with a smile from here to his native Georgia, Todd Margaret star Jack McBrayer is the perfect actor to play any role that calls for serious pep. Best known for his work on 30 Rock and his various appearances on Conan O’Brien’s late night programs, Jack has amassed a slew of classic scenes and hilarious performances.

To get you ready for the final three episodes of Todd Margaret season three (airing tonight at 10/9c on IFC), here are five hilarious Jack McBrayer clips that’ll have you smiling from ear to ear.

1. Jack and Triumph Visit Chicago’s Weiner’s Circle, Conan

Nicest guy in the world Jack McBrayer is put through the ringer when Conan sends him to the brutally honest Weiner’s Circle in Chicago, an establishment that earns much of its business by insulting the customers. But Jack exacts his revenge — and gets to don a vendor hat as well — when he enlists Triumph the Insult Comic Dog to unleash a barrage of killer put-downs.

2. Sherlock Doug, Todd Margaret

With the unexpected third season of Todd Margaret, Jack takes over the role of Doug from actor-director Spike Jonze and puts his usual jubilant spin on the character. But when he consigns to investigate the disappearance of another Todd Margaret character, he becomes a cold-hearted flatfoot in search of his perp. (Of course, he’s still pretty chipper.)

3. Jack Struggles to Talk Over Triumph’s Quiet Reading, The Tonight Show

The rapport between Jack and Triumph proved to be too valuable to abandon, so the duo kept the act going when they visited Jimmy Fallon on the set of The Tonight Show. But like the classic “straight man/comic relief” acts from the Vaudeville era, Jack can’t seem to get in a word in edgewise as he keeps getting upstaged by the canine answer to Don Rickles.

4. New Breaking Bad Drug Lord, Conan

Few television series reached the dramatic tension of Breaking Bad largely due to the phenomenal actors. But Conan discovers that one pivotal scene from the show was woefully miscast. Take a look at who was hired to play Walter White’s latest rival. We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

5. Backwards Day, 30 Rock

30 Rock had one of the greatest ensemble casts in a television comedy, and Jack played a huge role in that. (His Kenneth the Page character ending up being immortal was just a bonus.) But if you happened to miss the series when it aired, check out this easter egg of Jack McBrayer’s dedication to learning how to phonetically say a phrase backwards. When the scene plays in reverse, you’ll see he nailed it.

Watch Johnny Depp, Jack McBrayer, Patton Oswalt and More in Funny or Die’s Donald Trump Biopic

We’re barely halfway through February, but this year’s Too Many Cooks Award for the most bizarre comedy project is already a lock. Blindsiding the world with greatness without any warning, Funny or Die released a 50-minute Donald Trump parody starring an unrecognizable Johnny Depp as Donny.

Ron Howard introduces this “lost” 1988 TV movie adaptation of Trump’s how-to manual The Art of the Deal produced with the retro quality of a Wendy’s training video. Along for the big hair and shoulder pads flashback are Patton Oswalt, Alfred Molina, Todd Margaret‘s Jack McBrayer, Andy Richter, Rob Huebel, Jason Mantzoukas, Paul Scheer, and Michaela Watkins as Ivana — as well as many Reagan-era surprises like a cameo from that loveable cat eater ALF and a theme song by Kenny Loggins.

Much like Eric Jonrosh of The Spoils Before Dying and The Spoils of Babylon fame, “Trump” writes, directs, and narrates his own epic tale of real estate wheelings-and-dealings. Check out the trailer below, and head over to Funny or Die to watch the full Donald Trump’s The Art of the Deal movie before the real Donald sics his army of lawyers on Will Ferrell and company. (For more bizarro Johnny Depp characters, be sure to catch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this month on IFC.)
